Raman Tamang has been  my guide in Nepal on three treks, for a total of almost two months actually on the trail. I know him as a friendly, conciencious, careful, well-organized leader. He has done a great job facilitating interactions with villagers, which has been a big help for my photography. Our last trip entailed two weeks underway above 4000 m in Mugu and Dolpo, the majority of it wild camping. It was simply amazing. Raman was excellent in all aspects of leading the team. I wouldn't want to trek in Nepal with any other guide.
